For starters, Foster Cline suggests showing excitement about going back to school, curriculum and seeing old friends. Dyan Eyebergen urges parents to make sure their children get back to a regular and routine sleep schedule. A week to ten days before school starts may be needed to get them back into the return. Finally, it's important to try to de-stress. Betsy Brown Braun says rushing can create a lot of chaos and stress.
