- The fitness program you start now is going to set the tone for your entire pregnancy. While you're pregnant you are only going to be able to maintain this fitness level, not push yourself much further.

Holly Perkins
- Think of your pregnancy as your "marathon" - it's your endurance event!
- Doctors agree that you should should start your exercise program before getting pregnant.
Her recommended exercise: Split lung with overhead dumbell press. (It's challenging but it hits every single muscle in your body!)
Ron Matthews
- When giving birth, you're going to need muscle strength and muscle endurance -- this you'll get from resistance training.
His recommended exercise: Seated swiss ball lateral raise.
