Raising kids raises questions. We have expert answers. So go ahead, ask away!
On Friday December 18, 447,000 infant car seats were recalled by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and the Dorel Juvenile Group, Inc. The recall came after consumers reported that the child restraint handles, in over 40 different models, were coming loose, and in some cases- breaking off. Safety 1st, Cosco, Disney, and Eddy Bauer are some of the brands affected by this recall.
Last month, MacClaren, a popular stroller company out of the UK, announced that they were recalling nearly 1 million of their strollers due to reports that hinges were amputating children's fingers. While handling a recall can be complicated, it's obviously something that parents need to take seriously.
