Raising kids raises questions. We have expert answers. So go ahead, ask away!

A new study confirms what we wives have known all along - more housework done by the husband means more sex for the husband. Sue Shellenberger wrote about it in the WSJ last week but Clay Nichols (dadlabs.com) and I were ahead of the curve in our video this summer: Choreplay: Does it work? which asked and answered the question, "Do men who do more housework have more sex?"
According to the study and our own informal "polling", when men share the burden of domestic drudgery, women feel "affection and warmth" toward them and this leads to more canoodling. But while men are happy with the end results, some, like Clay, aren't thrilled to be wielding a plunger (or pushing a swiffer), feeling it's emasculating to be kneeling by a toilet bowl.
Interestingly, the study also debunked conventional wisdom that the more a couple toiled outside the home in the paid workforce, the more "marital satisfaction - read, sex" there was. Turns out that people who work hard, play hard too. Go figure.
