A new holiday before the old holiday season begins: Candletime!

While visiting the ever wise Magda at Ask Moxie, I discoverd her post today not only dealt with a reader asking about a "spirited child" but also introduced her idea for a new holiday running through Thanksgiving that I really liked: candletime. While I'm not sure I can pull off the requisite requirements (lighting candles and having a glass of wine) everyday, I'd like to give it a shot at least once a week. I'm all for creating new traditions -- especially those that don't require cooking or shopping - and this one will be a good excuse to slow down during our harried week. Thank you Magda - and to you I say, "Happy candletime!"
