Let's face it, it ain't that easy being green. So, in honor of St. Patty’s Day and more importantly my hands down favorite color, I am sharing some of my favorite green colored products and foods. Enjoy!

1.    Starbuck’s Green Tea Latte with Half the Amount of Syrup

I am not a coffee drinker, but I do love my occasional green tea fix because it’s good for you (filled with antioxidants) and gives you a healthy boost of energy. Starbuck’s gets the combo just right in their ubiquitously available Green Tea Latte (you can even get it iced in the warmer months.) It’s got a nice green tea flavor and the perfect hint of sweetness from the melon flavored syrup.

2.    Green Bagels from Western Bagel

This is my favorite local bagel shop and I love how they get into the spirit by offering green bagels every year in honor of SPD (I think they are available a few days before and a few days after March 17th). This is a fun little twist on your average bagel and the little ones will certainly enjoy it.

3.    Green Nail Polish

Since I adore the color green, I thought it would be fun to share some of my new favorite green colored nail polishes to sync with the season. Right now I am wearing and loving Four Leaf Clover by China Glaze. This is a BOLD aqua green shade, that is super fun and definitely makes a statement. Mint Candy Apple by Essie is a light green pastel shade that is perfect for springtime and Envy by Hard Candy is a dark emerald green metallic shade that is one of my absolute favs.

4.    Japanese Matcha Green Tea Facial Mask by Pangea Organics

This is an amazing one-stop-shop organic face mask that does it all—detoxifies, tones, hydrates stimulates, regenerates, nourishes and balances your skin. I absolutely love this mask because it refreshes my skin and makes it look radiant and glowing. And as an added perk, the package is made out of 100% post consumer newsprint and embedded with seeds so that you can plant it and grow medicinal herbs. This is a hall of fame product for sure!

5.    Green Ingredient Recipes

Because I am a foodie, I was compelled to include a couple of yummy, healthy recipes that highlight a couple of fabulous green vegetables. Long Cooked Broccoli is a divine indulgent version of broccoli that is akin to garlic mashed potatoes and totally addictive! And I recently raved about Kathy Kaehler’s Kale recipe in my review of Sunday Set-Up, click HERE for more information and another great green recipe.
