I have always gotten compliments on my hands and nails because I am blessed with long fingers and long nail beds. In fact, way back when I even considered being a hand model, but thank goodness I never pursued it. Nonetheless, I have always been obsessed with taking care of my hands with regular mani’s and a religious slathering of hand cream every night ever since I can remember (you should see my night stand, its covered with at least 8-10 different hand creams to feed my obsession) I constantly suffer from dry hands and love to try various unction’s in pursuit of the dream cream. Below behold my latest obsessions: 



1.    Votre Vu Duette Luxe Lip Balm & Hand Creme

This is a delightful new French brand that made its debut in the US earlier this year, they make a slew of fabulous and inspired products and Duette is no exception. Duette is one of the most brilliant product packaging concepts I have seen in while. It combines a nourishing coconut flavored lip balm and a hydrating almond/coconut hand crème all in one package. It looks like a tube of hand crème with two caps, you flip open the cap on the bottom for the lip balm, and the other cap attached to the balm opens the hand crème. I can’t get enough of this inspired, yummy combo!



2.    La Roche-Posay Lipikar Xerand Hand Repair Cream

This is another French brand I adore, especially for their phenomenal Anthelios Suncare Line. This hand cream contains potent moisturizing and repairing components that help restore the hydrolipidic protective layer of skin on your hands. I like the slight herbal smell and the light non-greasy cream that instantly absorbs into my skin and leaves my hands soft and supple. The formula is also water resistant so it tends to last longer than other hand creams.

3.    AHAVA Mineral Hand Cream

This is one of those cult favorite hand creams because it really combats dryness and coats your hands with a luxuriously rich cream that makes your hands velvety smooth. AHAVA’s hand cream contains proprietary ingredients that come from the Dead Sea in Israel and these unique ingredients deliver deeply nourishing results. I love how silky and hydrated this hand cream feels on my skin and it lasts and lasts.



4.    Fresh Brown Sugar Hand Cream

Fresh is among my top favorite beauty brands because of their wonderful ingredients, inspired innovations, and the yummy fragrances. The Brown Sugar Hand Cream has a lightweight whipped texture that instantly melts into the skin, provides wonderful moisturize and leaves hands incredibly soft. The formula contains all the same nourishing ingredients found in the original Brown Sugar Body Polish (like shea butter, brown sugar and vitamin E) and I am addicted to the yummy fresh citrus scent. 


5.    True Blue Spa Look Ma, New Hands! Softening Hand Lotion 

This product is from the Bath & Body Works Spa line and IMO it is probably one of the best products they have ever created. It contains paraffin which helps lock in moisture, makes hands silky smooth and protects the skin. This is one of my fav go-to hand lotions because it really works! I feel like it coats my hands in silky hydrating invisible gloves and it really helps when my hands are very dry—and you can find it almost everywhere!
