Happy Mother’s Day Everybody! Since Mommy’s Day is this Sunday, I thought I would share some yummy fragrances that I love and are sure to put a smile on your face. These fragrances always manage to brighten my mood and they are the type of scents that people often stop and ask what I am wearing. Hope you enjoy my fragrance suggestions and feel free to use them to drop a little gift hint to the family. Enjoy and take some time to smell the roses (in my case freesia )

1.    Ferragamo Incanto Bloom

Incanto Bloom is feminine, floral, citrus and sensual all at the same time. It has a subtle twist of grapefruit flowers and freesia combined with tea roses and champaca flowers. I would describe it as a fruity floral with a hint of musk, and to me, it feels like sophisticated spring/summer scent. And I love the Ferragamo signature bow bottle, it makes a beautiful classy presentation and I think it would look great on display in any bathroom.

2.    Fresh Citron de Vigne

I have always been a fan of Fresh’s fabulous layering fragrances and Citron de Vigne is no exception. In fact, this new scent is probably one of my favorite Fresh fragrances thus far because it is fresh, bright, crisp, citrus and earthy—totally my kind of scent and perfect for layering (I am excited to try it layered with Fresh’s Pink Jasmine.) Citron was inspired by France’s Champagne region, which resulted in a crisp, sparkling, sensual blend with a heart note of pinot noir accord, bergamot, jasmine tea leaves and lemongrass; a bubbling citrus top note of pink grapefruit and neroli; and an earthy base note of sandalwood and amber. The perfect summer fragrance for this champagne girl!

3.    Perfect Bliss

Sarah Horowitz Parfums are beautiful, artisanal, inspired fragrances that have a permanent place in my Hall of Fame favorite fragrances, with Perfect Veil being at the top of that list (Read More Than Just A Fragrance to learn more about this fab line.) Sarah Horowitz created Perfect Bliss to mirror the intoxicating scent of the floral arrangements at her wedding many years ago. This wonderful fragrance features the top notes of blood orange, mango, and papaya; a romantic middle accord of gardenia; and  sexy base notes of vanilla, patchouli, cedar and musk. I am really enjoying Perfect Bliss because its sexy, fruity and complex and I tend to think of it as my date night fragrance.

4.    Miss Marisa

Miss Marisa is a cult favorite fragrance that you tend find at insider boutiques across the country and I have been a long time fan of this ‘what-are-you-wearing?’ fresh and fruity perfume oil. The Original Miss Marisa is a luscious blend of plum blossoms, cassis, fresh mint and waterlily--totally unique, different and divine smelling. Miss Marisa Tropical takes the fabulous scent of the original and enhances it with a blend of juicy mango and creamy coconut, ginger and peach. I think Tropical would be a perfect fit for a summer vaca in the tropics.

5.    Tova Signature Platinum

I fell in love with Tova back in college and haven’t turned back ever since. I absolutely love this very special fragrance that has gotten rave reviews throughout the years because of its fresh and unique blend of citrus and musk. The original Tova scent has evolved over the years and is now sold exclusively on QVC. My current favorite Tova iteration is called Tova Signature Platinum which embodies all of the original notes of bergamot citrus, jasmine, lavender and sandalwood, but with a higher level of musk notes which gives it a lot of staying power. I love Tova because it is a clean, fresh, and sensual fragrance that brings me back to a special time in my life, but its appeal is timeless and I still adore it today.
