Raising kids raises questions. We have expert answers. So go ahead, ask away!
If you recall, it was just a couple weeks ago that my near brush with Jessica Alba reminded me just how disheveled I actually am. So when I saw that the actress who is a mother to 18-month old Honor opens up in the February issue of SELF about her flaws, I got slightly excited. Of course, "flaws" are all relative, but I appreciate her attempt at "learning to love them" nonetheless.
"Pregnancy was the most incredible experience I’ve ever had," the actress says. "So I’ll take the stretch marks. I’ll take the sagging boobs. I’ll take the cellulite I can never get rid of."
Alba, 28, who's one of the many darling celebs starring in the upcoming romantic comedy Valentine's Day (out Feb.12), says that it's her daughter Honor that cures her of any stress she may have. "When I spend time with her, I get instant perspective. I can be hard on myself if I don’t do everything perfectly. But now that I have her, there’s no time for that. I want to teach her that you can learn from your mistakes, and if you keep moving and stay positive and loving, everything will work out."
Bottom line: I would take her cellulite over mine any day.
