Raising kids raises questions. We have expert answers. So go ahead, ask away!
Last friday, I had the opportunity to attend the 5th Annual Boom Boom Room at the Century Plaza Hotel in Los Angeles. The Boom Boom Room is a gifting haven for Hollywood’s most famous families with 100 vendors gifting the most luxurious baby, children and parenting products. Some of the celebrities in attendance this year... Tiffany Amber Thiessan, Ming Na Wen, Christina Milian, Scott Baio, Larry Birkhead, and Penelope Ann Miller....
From Britax, to Bright Start to the Boom Boom Room Playground sponsored by Fisher-Price, I was thoroughly impressed by the quality of vendors in attendance. This week I will be sharing some of my favorite products from the event...
DIAPER BAGS- Timi and Leslie.

• When I say, HOT. I mean, HOT. When I walked by this booth, I literally had no idea that these bags were full functioning diaper bags. My favorite was the leather, pewter colored, Marc Jacobs-esque handbag with a detachable shoulder strap and two pockets on the sides for sippy cups and/or bottles. Also, loved the Marie Antionette- a quilted nylon tote with detachable shoulder straps. These bags are great for moms who don't want to give up their purses but need the full functionality of a diaper bag- compartments and all.
SKIN CARE- Episencial
http://episencial.com/
• This natural and sustainable skin care line was inspired by The Very Hungry Caterpillar's favorite fruits from The World of Eric Carle. (Soothing Cream in Pear- Love!) Currently, the products are available at Whole Foods, Drugstore.com and coming soon to Target stores. To top it off, Episencial CEO, Kim Walls, M.S. was especially delightful and her expertise in clinical care and nutritional science make this beautifully packaged but affordable line a mommy must have.
NURSERY - Good Nite Lite
http://www.goodnitelite.com/index.php
• As a mom with a toddler who has "sleep issues," this product was definitely one of my faves. Featured on CBS's "The Doctors" and endorsed by SleepEasy Solution author and expert Jill Spivack, the Good Nite Lite is (a patent pending), "behavioral modification device designed to promote a child's ability to get the rest that is critical for healthy development."The moon and sun characters let the child know when it's the appropriate time to wake up (and go to sleep).
Check back in TOMORROW for more of my favorite Sippy Cups, Nursing and Toy must haves...
