Oprah Winfrey, who has discovered some of the biggest stars in the world, is partnering with producer Mark Burnett ("Survivor” and "The Apprentice") to hold auditions for "Your OWN Show: Oprah's Search For The Next TV Star." The winner will be awarded his or her own TV talk show on OWN: The Oprah Winfrey Network.
Contestants (who must be 21 to participate) can upload their own audition video to Oprah.com, and online submissions will be voted on by the public. Audience voting takes place at Oprah.com where the public can watch contestants’ videos and vote for their favorite through July 3.
There are five audition categories: Traditional Talk Show Host, Cooking, Design (interior or fashion), Health and Well Being, and Wild Card. Wild Card gives contestants a chance to showcase a skill or talent that may not be included in the four major categories.
