Courtney Love has certainly never been heralded as the poster child for "good motherhood."   But the latest news about her losing custody of her 17 year old daughter must mean she crossed over into really bad mommy territory.   And as if the headlines weren't enough, Courtney is continuing to dig herself deeper with a reported rant about her only child on Facebook.  Moms are already getting enough grief for invading what was once the sole and sacred province of their teens. But Courtney, lashing out at Frances on her fan page is really going to make moms even more persona non grata online.  

No reason was given for Love's loss of guardianship (it's a "private matter" says the family") but this is what Courtney shared on the world wide web:

""I hate to sound cold but any kid of mine who pulls this $h!t has lost her position. She was deceptive, she lied and even worse she's lying to herself."

Another sad story of parenting in the spotlight gone awry.  It seems safe to say that if the family wants to keep things private, online rants should be kept to a minimum!
